The weather in Hanoi has taken a turn for the better today. Mike and I even got a little sun burned despite having sunblock on. We headed to the Old Quarter this afternoon to buy a buggy. Two other couples came with us because we figured such was our haggling skill that we'd get a better price if we were buying in bulk :0) Twenty minutes of the most pathetic haggling later I'm pretty sure we paid a higher price than the ladies actually wanted. The only problem now is that Grace has laid claim to the new buggy and is insisting that Daniel be given her old one...
We bought Grace a traditional Vietnamese hat. She looks so cute in it.
Grace also wants everyone to know that she saw a tiny lizard and a bat today. These things are very important to a three year old.

Hi Mike, Sharron & Grace - we just saw the photos of Daniel taken during the week - he sure is a handsome chap, can't wait to see him in the flesh....tell Grace she looks cool in that hat - sounds like ye are having a hectic time...hope the travel sickness has abated somewhat Sharron. Glad the rain has stopped, although ye must have felt right at home in the rain! Looking forward to hearing more. Lots of love, John, Myra, Amy & Bryan.
Hi Guys,
great to hear that you are having a good time. Isn't it so typical that the older ones claiming the new things,ha ha. Having one of these older ones at home myself as you know. Even when Benjamin is getting now some mashed fruit he has to have a little bit of it. Enjoy the good weather over there and bring it back with you when you come home, we could do with a little bit of sun.
Looking forward to hear more of your journey and new photos of Daniel.
Greetings and God bless

Did you do any more shopping? The stamps on Hang Quat are good to get and make nice presents. Have you been to Hang Gai?
