We arrived in Vietnam at 12:30PM this afternoon - that's around 6AM Irish time. Grace was brilliant on the flights. We had one minor hickup when she had a nosebleed on the flight from Amsterdam to Singapore. The airline staff couldn't have been nicer to us. They even followed us into the terminal afterwards to double check that she was okay. She didn't sleep very much during the flights so we have our fingers crossed that she will sleep well tonight. It's now 7:40PM in Hanoi so we've been on the go for over 30 hrs at this stage. Mike and I are absolutely hanging and Grace is buzzing around the room.
We went out for a short walk earlier. The traffic is nuts. The only rule of the road appears to be that there are no rules. Drivers go up and down each side of the road, changing to the opposite side at will and doing u-turns in the middle of road with no warning to the other drivers. On our way in from the airport we saw a man walking on the top of a moving bus. No one else seemed to be bothered. We'll try and add some pictures tomorrow

Glad to hear you've arrived safely and that the flights went OK. Hope you are all getting a good nights sleep and ready for the mayhem that is Hanoi tomorrow.
I'll be checking in regularly for my "fix" so plenty of posts please.
Forgot to tell you about the big water dispenser that you can order from reception, much cheaper than the bottles and you still get the 4 free bottles every day from housekeeping.
Which layout apartment did you get, same as the one we had, or the other layout??

Great to hear ye arrived safe and sound, hope the jet lag isn't too bad!
No major news to report from work Mike apart from the 10 day being late again! Robbie popped up with a late equaliser at the SOL so good FF points for you as well as a good result!
I'm taking Mark to see his first international on March 28th at home to Bulgaria, we'll be boo hissing the Berb at that one. he doesn't know yet but he'll be thrilled. we are going with a group from his soccer team (Shountrade.
Don't forget to keep us updated with all the news and goss from Vietnam. Take care.
