Halong Bay

Following in the top gear footsteps we took a trip to Halong bay today with two of the other families in the group. It is absolutely stunning.

As you can see Grace loved being on the boat. We got to choose our dinner from the fish tanks (I picked a kit-kat) and we also went into one of the caves.

Hi Everyone,

Halong Bay looks amazing. We didn't go as it was just too hot when we were there.
Any news yet on the date for the G&R??

Hope you got some shopping done today. When are you going to the Museum of Ethnology?? I looked at one of the books we bought and it said the Tay have been in Vietnam for Millenia....long time so!!
Hope you get the G&R date soon.

Sonia
